A-Pillars are an integral part of the safety cage in a vehicle
Hot stamped laser welded A-Pillar Inners and Outers help automotive OEMs balance loads during narrow offset and roof crush events.
Made primarily of Usibor®, A-Pillars usually act as anti-intrusion members to protect the vehicle's occupant.
Although A-Pillar outers have started being designed as part of door rings, A-Pillar inners are still used in conjunction with door rings to manage front and roof crush load cases.
