ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks’ flagship product, the hot stamped laser welded Door Ring, helps automakers achieve excellent crash performance behavior for occupant and battery safety while reducing weight for significant CO2 emissions savings.
After the first hot stamped LWB Door Ring was produced for the 2014 Acura MDX, ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks has not looked back, producing Door Rings with increased complexity that give higher weight savings. ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks has produced more than 5.5 million Door Rings for a variety of vehicles like Acura MDX, Acura RDX, Ram1500 and Chrysler Pacifica, some of which are seen below.
