ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks has developed the next evolution in vehicle body architecture with our Double Door ring solution, an innovation born from our Multi Part Integration™ (MPI) approach. The Double Door Ring is a highly engineered Laser welded blank that meet the increasing demands of vehicle safety and sustainability.

These designs can consolidate the entire side structure of the vehicle into 2 components on each side, simplifying the assembly process of the vehicle. Designed for scalable architectures and optimized for both occupant and battery protection, AMTB’s Double Door Rings are setting a new benchmark in lightweighting, safety, and manufacturing efficiency. This design also enables architecture commonality across multi-powertrain vehicle platforms.
